Beautiful take on the Ami Elizabeth range. The detail of carving is excellent and the pieces are triple weighted which gives a real sense of luxury to the chess set. The design note on the knight is slightly understated – note the slight lift on the top of the nose. The dark wood is Acacia. The rook is slender and has a lovely balance. The selection is perfect for tournament play and is a luxury chess set to admire. The board would be best with 2 inch squares. NOTE: Chess board not included
