Maybe not dukial enough for strawberry leaves but their fine detailing is certainly reminiscent of leaves of some kind. Made from Sheesham wood, which lends itself to intricate carving, all pieces from the 3.75 inch King with its 1.25 base to the lowliest Pawn have rows of carving on their bases and bodies that not only adds to their appeal but also to their grip. With their double weight, you know that these pieces won’t slip from your fingers! The board for this set should have a 1.5 inch square. NOTE: The chess board is not included – this is a separate purchase.
